  Bourneldentity: Is this something they will be emailing everyone or is this just an example of a form they handed out a long time ago when everyone would meet at the Hall?

  I remember a form very similar to the above link a couple years back. In our circuit...the family heads were expected to stick to their pledge. Once a month the COBE when accounts reports were read (with direction from headquarters) would get on his bully pulpit and say something to the effect...'Remember what y'all family heads pledged to give...let your yes mean yes'... type of badgering!

  I, for one, am expecting a very strong arm ( 💪 ) approach again...some fashion directed to rank & file members to guilt them into giving $$$.

  The many steps Atlantis takes to avoid any tracing leaked documents back to him or the actual sender reminds me of how Don Corleone of The Godfather was able to keep the authorities from linking/connecting him to the many mob killings he had ordered. :-) :-) :-)

  I have no problem sending you leaked documents should I get my hands on them...for sure!

  ...what must it take to maintain the payroll of the COs & their wives worldwide? There's roughly 10,000 to12,000 COs thru out the world...add their wives...your talking 24,000 individuals. At $300 a pop for payroll, medical & etc...that's nearly $8 million monthly. Add to that the payroll of the thousands of Special Pioneers & Missionaries 'Mother' is maintaining. Yah...I think like rubber-face Lette one time said on camera...'We have more going out than coming in'! I say...'Let's keep it that way'! :-) :-)

  ...I remember one time hearing a C.O. talk about the problem WT had in big cities with dead-beat dads...individual JW fathers who were either behind in their child support payments or not paying at all. Add to that, the amount of single JW women raising children on their own and on low income. Me thinks WT is rolling in debt...Yay!

  Bourneldentity: $8.50 per publisher and 8.6 million publishers worldwide works out to $73 million a month they will roll in.

  The vast majority of these 8.6 JWs are from the poorest countries in the world. The U. S. claims to have 1.2 million. How many of these 1.2 million are low hour...nearly inactive & unreliable publishers. My guess is...that if WT can get 750,000 to contribute $8.50 monthly in the U.S. your talking tops $8 million. The WT leadership has often been heard to say that the JWs in the U.S. wind up covering/carrying the overhead/debt of all the poor countries...which is true.

  BOE Update! (as of 2020-07-31)

  body of elder letters, announcements, and so forth will be next to "none" unless more elders decide to contact us and help out.. atlantis has lost three elders in the past two years.

  two elders were disfellowshipped, and one disassociated and walk away a month ago.. when this happens receiving confidential documents is severed.

  the last announcement we received was 2020-07-23. i was not about to send out a childish letter on "mold" in the kingdom halls.. there are people out there out of work and concerned about what they will eat tomorrow, and the watchtower is concerned with mold!.

  No worries Atlantis & Petra! Yes...it was always a bonus getting those BOE letters hot off the press...so to speak. But as we all know WT has this retarded way of always shooting itself in the foot. So we'll always have something to entertain us here...BOE letters or not. Who knows, something else even better will land in your laps soon enough.

  Overrated: How about the supper righteous where everytime they speak, every other word is Jehovber. If someone keeps saying my name I would think they are some sort of retard.

  Amen to what you say Overrated! Most of our servant body when opening or closing a meeting with prayer will say 'Jehovah' anywhere from 5 to up to 15 times. On average they have a need to say that name at least once in every sentence of their prayer. It almost comes across as a mantra or chant!

  Zoom meetings, how long ?

  i was wondering two things, 1: how long in total are the zoom meetings, i presume the sunday one is the longest ?.

  and 2: if you use zoom for free, the session only lasts 40 minutes, so do they have an intermission so people can log back in, or are all jw's expected to pay for the "privilege" ?.

  but in her reading she is recognizing most of the names ( we were there at bethel during the 70s as a married couple) and asked what happened to reinhard lengtat?

  I have been told that Lengtat has one foot in the Watchtower and one foot out.

  Reinhard Lengtat reminds me alot of another exJW who had close ties with WT whose name recently popped up...Rolf Furuli...who refers to this cult as his 'Beloved Religion'!.

  My letter of disassociation, what do you think?

  dear brothers, july 27, 2020. in 1919, the president of the watchtower society made a bold prediction, “millions now living will never die”.

  that quotation was constantly repeated by the organization till the year 2000 when they realized that everyone in attendance at that assembly, who listened to j.r. rutherford repeat those words, are dead.. that teaching has guided my life.

  statements were repeatedly made at assemblies, conventions and in print that there was no career in “this system of things” so you don’t need a job with benefits or retirement, your fulltime job is to “preach the good news”!

  Yep...sounds like a letter of DA would be in order. Good luck to you mate. In this instance, me thinks your DA will leave a black-eyed imprint in your local JW community...nothing wrong with that...in fact a bonus!

  BTW...your letter is indeed in good taste...I can see the elders reading it as well...a good witness to them.
